After taking my car on a test drive and putting it on the lift, the mechanics at Flag determined that my driver's side rear shock mount was cracked, and that was causing the groaning noise. They ordered a new mount, and since it won't arrive till tomorrow, they were nice enough to give us a ride to a nearby hotel. So for the rest of the day my Dad and I are kickin' it in Kennesaw.

Kickin' it in Kennesaw
This morning, I checked the Car Talk website to find a good auto mechanic in the Kennesaw area. After calling one shop that didn't pick up the phone and another that couldn't look at my car until tomorrow, I called Flag Auto Service, whose owner agreed to look at my car this morning after hearing that I was having car problems during a cross country road trip.
