This blog will follow my hiking and travel adventures this summer in Yellowstone National Park. I will be in Yellowstone from mid-May through the beginning of August and look forward to exploring as much of the park and surrounding areas as possible. Monday through Thursday, I will be interning with the National Park Service at the Yellowstone Heritage and Research Center in Gardiner, Montana. Check out my other blog, to learn more about my experiences as an intern this summer. During my long weekends, I will be out exploring!
My Dad and I will begin the 2,400 mile, 4-5 day road trip from Gainesville, FL to Yellowstone on May 12. We hope to stay at locations with wireless internet access, so I should be updating the blog during our travels. I begin work on May 26, which leaves us a week to explore Yellowstone and Grand Teton together before he flies home from Bozeman, MT on May 24.
With only five days until we leave, I have lots of preparation and packing to do! I'd better get started!
